GeoEEL is a GIS consultancy
specialising in services for
ecological, environmental and
landscape mapping/analysis.
GeoEEL was founded in May
2010, currently employing
myself, operating on a self-
employed basis.
Over my working career I have had over a
decades experience working with GIS and over
five years experience mapping ecological
surveys. I am also a member of the AGI and
affiliate member IEEM.
I graduated from the University of Leeds in
1999 with a BEng (hons) in Mineral Industry
Environmental Engineering. This course gave
me a good foundation in environmental
concepts and skills. Also it introduced me to
GIS and geostatistics. In the following years I
completed a part time MSc in GIS again from
the University of Leeds.
GeoEEL is dedicated to providing a
professional, affordable and conscientious
service focusing on the needs of ecology,
environmental and archaeology professions.
The
intention behind starting GeoEEL was to
provide GIS skills to individuals and small
companies who do not have access to GIS
technology or skills. Using GIS can greatly
increase the amount and accuracy of
information relating to a project. Passing on
these benefits to clients as standard is at the
core of GeoEEL philosophy.
